A friend gave me a lawnmower blade from a Bad Boy mower with a challenge to see what I could do with it. Challenge accepted! I had to do some research on the metal of the blade and then started to work.
The knife took a fair amount of grinding and hammering but I’m happy with the end result. The knife has a hand engraved brass bolster with purple heartwood and antler. I left the texture alone on part of the knife blade, I liked the rough look it gave the piece.
