“Classic Lines, Modern Strength”
This knife balances elegance and grit — a piece that looks right at home in the field or in a collector’s case. The 80CrV2 blade was heat-treated using the hamon technique, giving it that soft contrast between the bright, hardened edge and the darker, tempered spine. It’s not just for show — that transition adds real toughness and flexibility, letting the blade handle the hard work without losing its edge.
The handle is made from antique paper Micarta, a material with a rich, warm tone that ages beautifully. Each side is laser-engraved with a deer skull and vine motif, a design that honors the outdoors and the tradition of craftsmanship. Copper and brass Loveless fasteners anchor the scales securely, while a nickel silver bolster adds strength and balance. Along the spine, Jeff hand-filed a clean, repeating pattern that draws the eye to the emerald-green felt liners — a subtle pop of color that sets the whole piece apart.
It’s the kind of knife that’s meant to be used, admired, and eventually passed down.
