This is another one of those guns you start out doing just a little bit of engraving and you just can’t stop! The customer originally wanted me to engrave the calibers on the cylinders. It is a Black Hawk Convertible so it has a 9mm cylinder and a 357/38 cylinder. He wanted lettering on each cylinder so he could see at a glance which ones were which.
I did that and he said, “Well, you could put a little down here if you wanted.” It just kept snowballing until where I couldn’t stop myself and at the end we had a pretty good looking gun when it was all over!
